Seat Belt Law
According to recent research on accidents 63%of the people are killed in car accidents and those people are killed because those people had not worn their seat belt. Wearing seat belt is the important and first rule of car driving and people ignore this rule of driving. This seat is provided for the safety of the peoples this seat belt can save their live if they meet any accident.
Research also states that mostly males between the ages of 16 to 27 not use a seat belt while driving. Many teens and some young have a mentality that this seat belt cause problem in driving. Now there are more crashes happening due to drunk and drive, over speed, and driving reckless. After getting educated also people ignore to use this safety belt. In order to stop the accidents during driving the government has to put stronger seat belt laws.
Two types of seat belt laws:
1. Primary seat belt law
2. Secondary seat belt law
In primary seatbelt law the officer will pull over and handle a ticket to that person which will be seen without wearing safety belt.
In secondary seat belt law the officer must have a strong reason to pull a vehicle over and see the whether the seat belt is wearing or not. Different states have different law and rules regarding to driving. So it is the job if the driver to get the aware of all these things and should have a knowledge of all this.
And the accident effect government both physically and financially by paying higher tax, health cost, insurance, and much more this is only because of not wearing seat belt. It is according to research that America pay $600 per year because of car accidents.
According to research 9500 people lives are save in each year by just a seat belt. So wear seat belt and be safe …
